It was getting pretty boring having to brawl all the time.

I've been legged the last 3 games by missiles. Is this the power of suggestion or did they get a tracking increase?

Were you jumping at the time? Thats when I generally get hit in the legs. Also if you're in a light mech running fast they may splash the legs since they're trying to go a bit horizontal to hit you at the end of their curve. Dont think thats changed in a while.

Or if you attempt to evade them by backing straight away from the source of the missiles.

I think they got a stealth damage buff, that's for sure. All I know is they need to be nerfed into the ground or be given some form of penalty like diminishing returns on boats.

I saw a crapload of LRMs yesterday, but didn't noticed them being any more effective (other than in sheer volume), I just assumed it was because fewer people were playing ECM since Project Phoenix dropped.

I saw no difference in my LRMs. On the other hand, since the Catapult chassis was fixed (C1 and C4, IIRC, had a pair of energy hardpoints broken in a strange way, which is why I ceased using it), I am now using it again.

Maybe I'm not the only catapult owner who decided to return to it? Plus, one of the Battlemaster variants is practically designed to be a missile boat. Perhaps you're just seeing more of those around.

LRMs did not get a stealth buff, they still suck in PUG's.

You are bring hit by artillery strikes. They tend to deliver their damage to legs a lot.

No kills, just assists with LRMs so nothing new so far. Had alot of clear shots on Caustic and even TAG'ed targets were being killed by direct fire weapons.

Impulse #'s

LRM's .40 (all sizes)
SRM's 2 = .19
SRM's 4 = .11
SRM's 6 = .19

Not sure why the SRM2 has more Impulse than the SRM4 and yet the same as the SRM6? (suspect a typo in the code perhaps)

Not one of the Phoenix mechs have ECM slots. 12 new mechs everyone is playing, no new ECM

Holy cow...last couple nights have seen non-stop LRMs raining from above. I agree...more people working on their Phoenix mechs and so a lack of ECM is giving us another round of LRM-ageddon. Been putting AMS back on my mechs as a result.
